1. Account Manager (Sales & Marketing) - Johor, Penang, Sarawak, Selangor

Responsibilities:

We are looking for dynamic Sales Executives / Managers for our Freight Forwarding Unit to grow this business. Those candidates with their own clientele & who can bring new businesses to us will have an advantage.
Responsible and accountable for business growth in freight forwarding market.
To develop new and expand sales opportunities.
Good in sales negotiation, to identify potential business sector and initiate strategy to win new business.
Able to meet sales target.
Manage and service customers’ needs.
Provide forwarding/logistics solutions to customers and guide them on shipping, customs clearance and logistics matters.
Coordinate with the operations department on customers' requirements and exceeding customers' expectations.
Coordinate with finance department on billing and credit matters.
Resolve any disputes with customers

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Business Studies / Marketing / Business Development or equivalent.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

2. Accountant

Responsibilities:
To oversee the accounting operations of the Branch/ Division;
To make available accurate and timely financial reports to Management for decision making;
To oversee the fund management operation of the Branch;
To ensure that credit is granted to qualified customers only by evaluating the sources of credit information, deciding on the credit to be granted and reviewing the credit limits and risks categories;
To ensure the Company is NOT a victim of fraudulent transactions which include assessing and preventing all forms of potential fraud;
To ensure prompt collection of credit accounts, that is within the credit limit and credit period granted;
To continuously assess the performance of the credit control functions by daily review of the Ageing Reports and other credit information, monitoring and comparing the debtors collection days, total collection to sales (billings), total overdue accounts and percentage of bad & doubtful debts to sales (billings).
To assist in ad-hoc tasks assigned as and when required.

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
1 month notice period or can join immediate is preferrable
