Jawatan Kosong MD Lipis - Majlis Daerah Lipis or Lipis District Council was set up on March 1982 outcome of the merger of several local authorities namely Kuala Lipis Municipal Council, Benta, Jerkoh, and Penjom Local Council and small towns such as Padang Tengku, Bukit Betong, Mela and Merapoh. According to the history Kuala Lipis Municipal Council started its operation as the Board Of Health or ‘Sanitary Board’ till the end of World War II. After that it shifted as the Town Board until 1959. In 1959 Election for Local Government was held to choose Council Member to administer this Local Authority until District Council was established on 1 March 1982.
Applications are invited from citizens of Malaysia (priority to Pahang citizens) who is qualified and not less than 18 years on the closing date to fill vacancies in the Lipis District Council, Kuala Lipis, Pahang.
Malaysian citizens aged 18 years and above (Priority to the State Assembly of Representatives and the applicant was born in Lipis district), who qualified were invited to fill vacancies on a regular basis in Lipis District Council, Kuala Lipis, Pahang as follows: -

Requirements:
(a.) a citizen of Malaysia;
(b.) not less than 18 years on the closing date of the position;
(c.) the primary level educated aided the government or a qualification recognized as equivalent by the government, and
(d.) can speak, read and write in Bahasa Malaysia satisfactorily.
How to Apply
a.) All applications must use Form MDL.Jawat 1/01 which is available at the Customer Service Counter, Lipis District Council, 27200 Kuala Lipis, Pahang or visit the Web site of MDL www.mdlipis.gov.my
b.) All applications must be complete with information such as a recent photograph of passport size 2.5sm x 3.8 cm (not allowed to photograph scanned or photocopy), a copy of identity card, birth certificate, copy of school certificates or copy of the results obtained. Required copies shall be verified. Additionally included other qualifications are required. Incomplete application forms will be accepted if copies of certificates are not verified, passport photo not included and not write the witnesses at the back of the application form.
c.) Candidates who apply MDL.JAWAT Form 1/00 by mail and must include the MDL website envelope size 10 cm x 23 cm self addressed and have a stamp RM 0.60 sen. Completed application forms must be submitted to the address below: -
