Jawatan Kosong YIK - Yayasan Islam Kelantan (YIK) originally was established on 1 July 1974 under the operation of Kelantan Enactment number 9/1968 (Kelantan Islamic Foundation for Higher Education) with the name of the Department of Religious Schools Manitoba (JASA). At that time stationed in Lundang office.
In June 1979 it was re-registered under the Kelantan Enactment Number 5/1979 in the name of Islamic Education Foundation of Manitoba (YPINK).
The institution was amended once again through the Enactment of Kelantan, number 8/1982 (effective on 1 st. March 1983) and was Yayasan Islam Kelantan (Yik).
