Jawatan Kosong Angkasa - The National Planetarium started as the Planetarium Division in the Prime Minister’s Department in 1989. The construction of the National Planetarium complex began in 1990 and was completed in 1993. A soft launch to the public began in May 1993 and it was officially opened by the former Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, on 7 February 1994. In July 1995, after one and a half year of smooth operation, the Division was transferred to the Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment.

Jawatan Kosong Agensi Angkasa Negara (ANGKASA) :

1. Pembantu Galeri Gred S27

Requirements:
i. citizens of Malaysia
ii. Age 18 to 30 years
iii. Diploma in Physics, recognized by the Government of Institutions - Institutions of Higher Learning in Science or Diploma recognized by the Government of Institutions - Institutions of Higher Learning; or
iv. Diploma in Mass Communication recognized by the Government of Institutions - Institutions of Higher Learning or a Diploma in Hotel Management or Tourism is recognized by the Government of Institutions - Institutions of Higher Learning; or
v. Higher Certificate of Education or a recognized qualification that is recognized by the government with a principal in the subjects of Science, and
vi. Credit in Bahasa Malaysia / Malay (including pass Oral Examination) in the Certificate of Education or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.

a) The applicant must fill out job application forms are available on the website of SPACE http://www.angkasa.gov.my/planetarium.

b) All the information filled in the form should be written clearly in CAPITAL LETTERS.

c) All applications must be accompanied by a photograph passport, copy of identity card, copy of birth certificate, copy of certificates and copies of the results of completed schooling CERTIFIED.

d) The completed application form must be sent to the address below:

Qualified Malaysian citizen aged between 18 to 30 years are invited to fill a casual vacancy in the office daily (PSH) in Planetarium Negara, Agensi Angkasa Negara, Kuala Lumpur as follow :

1. Juruteknik J17

Requirements:

• i. citizens of Malaysia
• ii. Age 18 to 30 years
• iii. Certificate in Mechanical recognized by Government Polytechnic, Local Polytechnic or other equivalent institution, or
• iv. Certificate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering recognized by Government Polytechnic, Local Polytechnic or other equivalent institution, or
• v. Certificate in Public areas recognized by the Government Polytechnic, Local Polytechnic or other equivalent institutions, and
• vi. Credit in Bahasa Malaysia / Malay (including pass Oral Examination) in the Certificate of Education or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
• vii. Have experience in related fields of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics and Civil.
• viii. Advantage to candidates who have experience in the maintenance of exhibition materials.
