Jawatan Kosong Institut Bank-Bank Malaysia :

1. Manager of Continuing Professional Development

Responsibilities:
  • To contribute towards development of a CPD strategy and policy that support the philosophy of lifestyle learning and in ensuring bankers meet industry and customers expectations with regards to relevant knowledge and skill, ethical values and quality delivery.
  • Design and develop a wide variety of continuing professional development services; development programs, explore and test learning methodologies and applications to ensure that competence requirements, for across all job families in banking and finance industry, remain relevant
  • Identify, co-ordinate and align professional standards on training curriculum and learning as part of setting industry benchmarks and guide for professionals across the industry.
  • Plan, identify and conduct bankers’ development needs and objectives to programme content and curriculum.
  • Responsible for the review, development of pre and post continuous learning and outcomes including supporting exam based qualifications through a comprehensive training needs assessment for future competencies requirements of the banking industry
  • Work with industry experts to create and deliver training services, relevant to different market needs, for IBBM members, students and employers and other key stakeholders. In particular, the development of member training services which create a range of career paths for bank employees.
  • Working with all teams to support and contribute to the success roll out of development related projects, including marketing and delivery.
  • Responsible to build and develop internal and external teaching capacity to support the roll out of in-house and public programs
  • To build development committee, supported by proper governance, plans and directions whose work is to identify key macro trends and concerns as part of development plans.
  • To carry out staff training and information sharing to ensure that Training and Development policies, products and services, are fully understood and implemented across IBBM
  • Continuously maintain effective utilization of budgets and resources and provide leadership and guidance to manage performance and development.
  • Provide leadership to the team and establish continuous improvement culture within the cross disciplinary team. This includes motivating and developing team members towards achieving the common goals of the Institute.

Requirements:
  • Candidates Personality Profile
  • Self motivated, resourceful and proactive
  • Strong drive with good analytical skills, planning skills
  • Able to work under pressure

Competency and Academic Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in financial services preferably exposure in credit, risk and bank operations
  • Ability to conceptualise learning and developmental needs in the context of current banking trends and emerging themes
  • Know-how on research and teaching including both pedagogy and content

2. Executive, IT

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and maintenance of PCs and peripherals, troubleshoot, if any, to ensure workability of IT equipment.
  • Support office applications, maintain and troubleshoot where necessary, provide first level support and monitor second level support by outsourced providers for specialised applications, i.e., IAMS, First Accounting and future systems to be deployed by IBBM.
  • Support implementation of new systems in project management, resource planning and roll out and provide technical support to assist in ensuring resources and infrastructure are capable to support such changes.
  • Monitor and co-ordinate scheduled maintenance/service, including ensuring Symantec End Point Protection and Anti-Virus scanning are performed as scheduled.
  • Assist in manage backups according to schedule and recovery of files/databases when necessary.
  • Maintain register and monitor movements of IT asset and consumables, ensure records are up-to-date.
  • Responsible for hardware and/or software installation.
  • Continuously source for better package deal for IT consumables, minimise wastage and monitor spending over budget.
  • Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with vendors.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as may be directed by the supervisors.

Requirements:
  • Candidates Personality Profile:
  • Able to work under tight deadline and manage time effectively;
  • Resourceful, self motivated and result oriented;
  • Demonstrate self-awareness and willingness to learn;
  • Able to work and communicate well with internal and external customers as well as vendors.

Competency and Academic Requirements:
  • At least a Diploma holder in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent with minimum 2 years similar working experience;
  • Posses knowledge and experience installation of computer hardware and software;
  • Posses knowledge and experience in computer repair and service, troubleshoot faults;
  • Good customer service mindset and organisational skills;
