1. how to meet the increasing demand for electricity while mitigating the effects on the environment,
2. how to ensure power generation options remain efficient and available,
3. how to develop and integrate next generation green energy technologies to ensure sustainable development, as well as
4. how to improve the reliability and robustness of power delivery to customers
